One year before the 2012 Summer Olympics, BMX silver medalist Mike Day severely injured his back during a training session. His recovery has consisted of disk replacement surgery and physical therapy. Day went on to compete in London and has since made a brief crossover into competitive downhill mountain biking.
This assignment consisted of creating a personal brand that could coexist with a current or potential sponsor and a 30 second spot with dynamic typography that illustrates that athlete’s story as the archetypal hero’s journey.
